Escape The Jailers
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
You are about to make the greatest escape of your life, but the creepy jailers stand in your way. Fortunately, the Titan ring can help you slip under doors and avoid your enemies!
I made this game for GMTK August 2024 Game Jam. It was my first game jam so I was not that confident in working with others, perhaps out of fear of dragging them down. However, I am pleased with this product to some extent. I hope you guys try the game out and tell me how you feel about it. All feedback is appreciated.
The music used in this game was made by Eric Matyas, and downloaded from www.soundimage.org
The title screen font is called 'Flesh and Blood'. It is a font by Joanna Vu. I used it because it looked very similar to the font from the game 'Bloodborne' by FromSoftware. It looks nice.

Install instructions
- Download the zip file associated with your Operating System.
- If you use Windows, just download the Zip file for Windows and extract it. It contains an executable that runs simply by double-clicking.
- Since I am not an established AAA corporation, my game might be flagged as suspicious by Windows. If this is the case, you can click on 'more options' and then click on the 'run anyway' option. If you don't trust the file and question its integrity, you can scan the folder using your antivirus software.
I can assure you, it is clean and nothing more than a simple game.
If you use Linux, you don't need instructions, I am sure. Just a heads-up, right-click the executable and go to properties to make sure the 'run as an executable' option is checked.
